Princess Beach | Destin, Florida
I love destination weddings and Jacintha and Dave’s was totally worth the drive. Sam and I arrived in Destin Florida to find a beautiful house and a very exciting bride. Jacintha’s enthusiasm was contagious and I jumped right into shooting. My favorite detail shot had her ring and scrabble pieces from her grandmother’s game set. The couple rented a pair of beach houses for the weekend and had their ceremony on the white sands of Princess Beach. There were vases filled with green and blue sea glass, a steel drum player and all the guests were dressed to match. After “I do,” everyone celebrated at the beach house with a family style dinner catered by Carrabba’s Itlaian Grill. The evening was highlighted with marriage advice from their guests going in the order from the newest to oldest married couples. I think the best advice given was “she is always right.” Jacintha and Dave’s wedding was personal and spent with the people closest to them. I felt so lucky to have been a part of it and walked away with new friends.
