I’ve been coming to the Cummer Museum since I was in college, but this was the first time shooting a wedding here. I love the first time shooting at a venue, it sparks creativity and inspires me to try something new. This property was gorgeous with lush gardens, fountains and arched hedges. Linda and Evan’s first look that was so sweet and I loved how she came down the brick stairs to meet Evan in the Italian garden. The best part about doing a first look was all the time we had before the ceremony to shoot. They were married in the lower gardens over looking the St. Johns River and followed by a reception with amazing food and live band.

Last year, Lindsay and Chad were blessed with a beautiful baby boy named Jaxon. It was a fun year watching him grow – we did everything from a Santa stocking, Easter on the beach, a pumpkin patch with tears and a cake smash that had everyone cheering along. Jaxson has the contagious smile and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him.

The morning I arrived at the Jupiter Beach Resort I was instantly impressed with its beauty and old Florida charm. Jordan and David were married on a private beach overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect setting for the couple’s ceremony, even though it started to rain as Jordan and her father walked down the aisle (everyone says its good luck – right). Covered by the mangroves and umbrellas they exchanged their vows and before the first kiss shared a personalized handshake – it was really cute and totally them. They deserved a perfect celebration and that’s exactly what they received! Everyone had a wonderful time and kept the party going till the last song – seriously, Dancing with the Stars had nothing on their reception. I wish you both decades of happiness and it was an honor to be the one to captured your day.
