Hi there! Thanks for your patience as I redesign my blog - can't wait to share.

Linda + Evan : A Cummer Museum Wedding

I’ve been coming to the Cummer Museum since I was in college, but this was the first time shooting a wedding here. I love the first time shooting at a venue, it sparks creativity and inspires me to try something new. This property was gorgeous with lush gardens, fountains and arched hedges. Linda and Evan’s first look that was so sweet and I loved how she came down the brick stairs to meet Evan in the Italian garden. The best part about doing a first look was all the time we had before the ceremony to shoot. They were married in the lower gardens over looking the St. Johns River and followed by a reception with amazing food and live band.

Jaxson’s First Year : Family Portraits

Last year, Lindsay and Chad were blessed with a beautiful baby boy named Jaxon.  It was a fun year watching him grow – we did everything from a Santa stocking, Easter on the beach, a pumpkin patch with tears and a cake smash that had everyone cheering along. Jaxson has the contagious smile and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him.

Amanda + Jamie : A Treasury on the Plaza Wedding, St. Augustine, FL

It was a beautiful morning in St. Augustine for a wedding and the whole day was timed perfectly. We started at the Oldest House Museum for their first look. I am loving these more and more. It is always a sweet and emotional moment for the couple to see each other before the ceremony and it also helps get out some of the nerves. We then meet the family and bridal party at the Lightner Museum for the formal portraits. It wasn’t all formal,  the couple meet while playing kickball, so we made sure to take a second to have some fun. Amanda and Jamie choice the Treasury on the Plaza for their ceremony and reception. I was really excited to shoot at this venue because of the marble, Corinthian columns and an old bank vault turned into a bar. Their reception was a non-stop party till the end, really it was hard to get everyone to leave before the couple ended their night with a private last dance. The best way to describe Amanda and Jamie’s wedding was classic and fun. We had such a great time and wish them both years of happiness.

Kate + Brad : A St. Augustine Engagement

I can honestly say that I have never shot with this much rain or laugher, but turned out to be the perfect combination for the St. Augustine engagement. Kate and Brad are an adorable couple and with an amazing sense of humor – we absolutely loved our time with them! We started at the Lightner Museum and I’ll admit, I like to start there because you’ll find a great yellow door at the back of the property, and it’s near free parking. We got a few shots in, but the rain came. We ran for cover under this old victorian home, which turned out to be a blessing. I loved the columns, the blue ceiling and a mosaic wall that maybe a new fav St. Augustine location for me. With every engagement session it is my goal to not only capture pretty pictures, but the couple’s personality. They made my job easy as we traveled through historic downtown and Kate should get a special award for walking around in those heels. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I had shooting them. I can’t wait to see Kate and Brad’s wedding – its going to be a fun party!

Jordan + David : A Jupiter Beach Resort Wedding

The morning I arrived at the Jupiter Beach Resort I was instantly impressed with its beauty and old Florida charm. Jordan and David were married on a private beach overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect setting for the couple’s ceremony, even though it started to rain as Jordan and her father walked down the aisle (everyone says its good luck – right). Covered by the mangroves and umbrellas they exchanged their vows and before the first kiss shared a personalized handshake – it was really cute and totally them. They deserved a perfect celebration and that’s exactly what they received! Everyone had a wonderful time and kept the party going till the last song – seriously, Dancing with the Stars had nothing on their reception. I wish you both decades of happiness and it was an honor to be the one to captured your day.
