St. Augustine, Florida
This St. Augustine engagement session was so much fun for several reasons. First, Ashley and John were so cute together, they were not scared of a little rain and getting kicked out of places. Now I’m sure you’re wondering where and how, but I blame the lack of a gate or sign for our wondering into this particular courtyard. Good thing we were able to capture some shots before we got the boot. I love shooting in St. Augustine because of all the different locations and when it started to rain, Flagler college was our safe haven. Ashley and John, thank you for making a rainy afternoon so memorable and can’t wait till your wedding.

Over the last two years, I have had the pleasure of shooting newborn and family pictures for the Carlson family. I was so happy when Lana called me to say that she was pregnant again and booked me months in advance to shoot newborn pictures of the new baby. Ethan was born on May 5th and I can’t wait to hear about the adventures with his two older brothers.
Jessica and Michael first meet 6 years ago at a marathon training session, which made the first half of our session perfect. We shot on Jessi’s favorite street in St. Augustine and wore bright colored running clothes – the ring really popped tied to her shoe laces. After a quick wardrobe change, we walked and laughed through the historic St. Augustine streets. My favorite spot was a pink house with green shutters. It made for a great backdrop and complimented their outfits. If I were to quote anything from this engagement session it would be Mike’s best line, “what is my motivation?” They are a fun and lovable couple and I can’t wait for their destination wedding this October in the Keys.
