Leah and Todd’s wedding was all about the personal touches. From writing their own vows to her grandmother’s rings included on the bouquet. They wanted to have a moment alone together before the ceremony, but instead of doing a traditional first look, where the bride and groom meet face-to-face, Leah waiting in the bridal room and Todd stood at the door. They were able to hold hands and exchanged an I love you to calm the nerves. At the ceremony the boys surprised everyone – including me – with a smoke machine and air guitars entrance. But the laughs didn’t stop there. The groom’s vows rhymed and the best man pretended to “forget” the rings. Everything was relaxed and easy with this couple. I have shot in St. Augustine a lot and was so excited when we found a new area with a teal gate, beautiful pink flowers and soft lighting. The day was simply perfect.
